Donna Gilleland, a resident of Oak Cliff, is a craftsman of custom heirloom quality rosaries and religious jewelry. She feels that the spiritual aspect of our being requires proper nourishment as well as the physical and mental aspects in order to be fully developed as humans. The need for created beauty that touches our spirituality is greatly downplayed in our society. To fill this void she endeavors to create Rosaries and other religious articles which inspire a spiritual response and nourish our desire to experience the beauty of creation. She has been designing unique handcrafted pieces for approximately 2 years.

This was not her first endeavor into artistic craftsmanship however. As a Graduate of Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Post Graduate work in Graphic Design at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, she has done work in watercolor, etching and textile arts. She feels her current work in jewelry design is a culmination of the nurturing and growth of body mind and spirit.
