ART LIFE KENYA
Oak Cliff Artisans Lynda Smith, Larry Pile, and Sharon Penner contributed artwork to Art Life Kenya Message in a Bottle project. The exhibit was held on Saturday evening, October 21st, 2006 at the Austin Children’s Museum, in Austin, TX.
A team traveled to Kenya May of 2005 and collected over 300 dreams, stories, pictures and drawings from Kenyan children. Over 100 artists created original works of art from these 'Messages in a Bottle.'
